actualism

actualism
Sometimes known as actual idealism. For one usage see Gentile . The term also applies in contemporary works to the view that only the actual world is real, with other possible worlds regarded as not themselves existing, but as wrongly thought to exist because modal idioms are useful instruments of thought about the real world. See also modal realism.
